One New Man Art Painting: Golden Age Olive Tree

Golden Age Olive Tree

Scriptures: “Furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a house.”(1 Chronicles 17:10b.)

“I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. He will build me a house and I will establish his throne forever.” (1 Chronicles 17:11b,12.)

“I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness.  As for me, in uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.” (1 Chronicles 29:17)

“I give you all the finest olive oil and all the new wine and grain.” (Numbers 18:12)

“He will set you high above all nations which He has made, in praise, in name and in honour, and that you may be a holy people to the Lord your God.” (Deuteronomy 26:19)

“So King Solomon surpassed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom. And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.” (2 Chronicles 9:22-23)

“Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful, and succeeded to royalty. Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through My splendour which I had bestowed on you.” (Ezekiel 16:13-14)

This painting depicts the Golden Age of The Olive Tree of Israel. Its branches are heavily laden with juicy plump golden olives, almost bursting with the finest golden olive oil, representing God's grace and favour flowing  through her.

The top half of the canvas is almost entirely covered by leaves and golden fruits to convey the weighty harvest and abundance of her fruitfulness.  Israel’s fame spread far and wide. It’s even recorded that the Queen of Sheba came to visit and marveled at the favour and blessing of God that rested upon him.

These were the Glory days of reign of King Solomon surpassed only by his father King David whom God covenanted with him to build his house, and establish his seed forever.
